The
team here at MatBattle.com spend a great deal of time searching
the Internet for images, stories, movies and other media which
we think you might find interesting. It was during one such
expedition that I came across 'White
Tooth', written
by a teen judoka called Dalziel Davis.
'White Tooth' is a poem, and deals with the erotic associations
judogis seem to have woven into their very fabric. It is unusual,
it is powerful, and it is extremely well-crafted. Enjoy it.
Remember your youth. And your libido...

White
Tooth
By Dalziel Davis
At the tender age of sixteen
It appeared
Ghostlike
A shadow of infinite power
At first I refused
Dared not accept but
Soon it caught me like a net
I slipped it on during practice
Tumbled into groundwork and
It was beautiful
A white tooth made for wearing
Sensuality only I can see
To wear it
Was to give in
Its fine stitching
Was an art itself
It was like a lover
Always there
Powerful
Mysterious
Loyal
My shield
Its collar symbolized combat
Rough, white, thick
Made for conquest
It lies tattered in my sometimes absence
Broken and unwanted
Its collar is worn
Shredded
Stitching all gone
My judogi misses the fire of battle
The surge of flame within my loins
As another uke's struggles cease
Paralyzed, helpless
Entombed in limbs and thrusting hips -
Judo. Judo. Judo.
