'Should
I Tell My BJJ Coach That I Love Him?'
Okay,
here goes: I train Brazilian jiu-jitsu in Los Angeles, and the reason
Im writing you is that Ive got a serious crush on my instructor.
No other guy
could even hold a candle to him; hes the nicest, sexiest,
most intelligent person Ive ever met. Hes like something
youd see in a Calvin Klein catalog; his face makes Brad Pitt
look plain by comparison, and his body—his body has to be seen
to be believed, especially when hes wearing a gi and it comes
apart, so you just get flashes of his tanned skin, massive pecs,
and washboard stomach. God, just writing about it is giving me a
hard-on...
But theres
a problem here, and its a big one: My coach isnt gay.
Hes not even bi-curious. In fact, hes got a beautiful
wife and two young kids, all of whom come along to class pretty
often. So I guess you can see that Im caught in a jam here:
On the one hand, all I ever think about is my instructor, all I
want to do is get jiggy with him, but at the same time I know that
this cant ever happen because he isnt gay...

'Which
Sport Is Sexier—Judo Or BJJ?'
How
goes it! I have always been interested in the notion of erotic wrestling
and, in the last few months, have developed a keen interest in your fantastic site, which has brought Brazilian
jiu-jitsu to my attention now as well. My question, then, is this:
Bearing in mind that I'm new to the whole martial arts thing, which
would be the best discipline for me to choose?

'Is
It Okay For Me To Hump My Brother?'
The
main purpose of this e-mail is to see if you can answer one vital
question: Is it okay for me to hump my brother, and get him off, and
for him to do the same to me? Despite our love for BJJ and for the
sexual release that we get from it when we practice, we are not attracted
to each other. We have never kissed, or grappled in the nude, and
certainly have never considered having intercourse, and although we
do find some other guys (mainly BJJers) arousing, this is only a physical
reaction, and not an emotional one. Our hearts belong to our respective
girlfriends, and to women in general, and that's how it will stay...

'Should
I Come Out To My Team Mates?'
Now
that I've found this fantastic sport (Brazilian jiu-jitsu), I'm torn
between my principles, and the reaction I expect I'd receive if I
were to come out to my instructor and the other guys I roll with. So, here's
my question (though now I think about it, any actual advice would
be appreciated too): Is there a real place out there for us? Are you
out in this sport? Are any members of the MatBattle team, or anyone
you know? If I could find a place where the two worlds really meet,
I'd be off like a shot. But, I don't know if it exists anywhere but
in the anonymity of the Internet...
